International forums and conferences attract foreign visitors and enhance the country’s global image. At the same time, gastronomic tourism is becoming more popular, with traditional
dishes such as beshbarmak, kazy, and baursak attracting international interest.Within the framework of the Tourism Development Concept for 2023–2027, efforts are being made to
modernize infrastructure, improve service quality, and introduce digital technologies. Online booking systems and mobile applications have made travel planning easier for
tourists.According to recent data, Almaty has been included in international tourism rankings and is becoming a globally recommended destination. In 2025, tourist spending in the city
increased by approximately 40%, indicating growing demand. Overall, tourism is becoming a significant source of revenue for Kazakhstan’s economy.
